This  mask was cast in silicon bronze and was created using the lost wax method.  The wax original was used and no copies were produced making this a “one of a kind” bronze and not one in a series.  Inspired by the beautiful Greek goddess who’s hair was turned to snakes by Athena and whose gaze would turn men to stone.
